Cup Racer 914
The CR914 is a terrific RC sailing model. It was my first racing model sailboat and I have a very fond place for it in my heart. I represented this class from mid 1999 to late 2004, and was never disappointed with either the kit or the finished product. It is a terrific boat to build, sail and race.
However, in late 2004, I decided to concentrate on promoting, selling and supporting the model that is making the most dramatic strides in the RC sailing world. Nirvana II at http://SailRCNirvana.com, and Stealth Land Sailers at http://RCLandYachts.com I could never step away from active marketing, sales and support of the CR if it weren't for Dave Ramos, Chesapeake Performance Models, the North American distributor of the CR914. http://RCYachts.com His dedication, skills, and development of the CR class are well known to all of us in the model sailing industry. So I leave all my CR customers in good hands with Dave. Dave and I have worked closely for the last several years and will continue into the future to nurture the health and development of one-design model sailing in North America and around the world. Between us we offer the very best in RC sailboats, complete with the only full time, professional, personal support available in the model sailing industry. I am pleased to keep the information posted on this website in tribute to this great class, but our store on the CR is now closed.
